Anyone goy an ALL black 400EX ??

im in the process of re doing mine and EVERYTHING is black.. im curious to see what it's gona look like in the end.. the only thing that isnt black are the knuckles the axle and the engine will be left silver when i get a new bottom end.

that would look awesome with all black i think. did you look through the pics threads at all. i am not sure if there are any but with it all black everything it would look sleak and fast. this one is close to all black.

it would be a decent reference. it is not all black but the fenders are. you could do a photoshop on it to get the frame black. steve

mine is all black in front besides wheels with some red coming threw a little it is sweeet but then the subchassis axle swing arm is red like honda red but my motor is black to i mean i like it it gives it that stealthy look

that sounds like a bike I built for a customer some time ago. where do you live ?

Im gona run stock style plastics cept black.. OEM headlights i dont like the racing "hoods"

northern va i painted the bike myself tho before i started it was a stock 06 400 now its getting better but not done yet

Im waiting on this Giant DUCHE from ebay to fix his F up on the rear fenders and waiting on Credit card approval to order the engine parts

looks sweet, i would have taken the shock covers off because the springs are red and it would add some contrast, and i might have put some red accents like brake and clutch levers or something, but it looks wicked dank, i did basically the same thing but just yellow and black, kept the stock yellow plastics and painted everything els black with some yellow accents

Just wanted to put my $.02 in. I painted my frame black, and I would never do it again. It looks bad *** for a minute, but then I went and rode it and it looks very bad dirty. It is very hard to keep clean and looking nice. It''s like a black car, it looks very nice right after you wash it, but the next day after a little dust has blown onto it, it looks like crap. But again, this is just my $.02 from experiance.

if i ever rebuilt mine i would do the frame candy apple like the color of the 07 special edition 450r's and black 1st gen. plastics with chrome engine :devil:

I am going to PC mine Lonestar blue!! It is gonna look sick with yellow plastics and the crome!

it seems to be staying Purdy ! :devil:
it's still muddy in some spots i missed when i was washing it after riding.. but it looks good.. after washing a quick wipe of the plastics with armor all and Bam brand new
