I was thinking about painting some parts on my 400ex but im not real sure what color to use to go with my red plastics. Anybody have any ideas?

I think black would go good with it to but i want it to stand out a little more. Any other ideas

Which parts are you wanting to paint?
Red always looks good with black. Sometimes white, blue, or silver can look good, too. Even yellow if done in moderation...

Red or black. Red frame, spindles, chain cover. Black swingarm and a-arms.

go with a chrome powder coat, do not paint it, go for the powder coat.

black powder coat wih red plastic is what i did and love it heres a pic!!!

black has been done alot.. (even ive done it to my current quad)
if you want to be a bit more unique, try painting it yellow or maybe a metallic color..
oh, paint the hubs to match whatever color you choose.
Take a look at the end of hondarunners thread.. now that thing looks hot with the way the colors are set up. Red frame with black components.

i say a neutral color too. red is a loud color, and unless done right, another loud color clashes IMO... especialy if you don't have a graphics kit to tie it all together.

Metallic gold and black accents would work also metallic blue looks awesome with red plastics also a graphic kit to match would really set off your colors anything is better than the stock color.
