What's your opinion on the best ALL AROUND rear tires.
I do some hill climbing on loose coal waste and dirt trail riding
Looking for a GOOD, DURABLE, LONG WEARING tire, that can handle both

I have the Knarly Mx sticky compound and they are lasting real good. I had the regular Knarly before and they are bullet proof. Good tires in almost all conditions.

i have 20-11-9 knarlys

decent tire
only problems i have with them are that
1.they bite a little too much on loamy soil when new
2.they dont have enough side bite
3.they dont fare well in sticky mud, cake up too easy

I've got 22 inch Razr2 on my 400ex.

Sounds like a lot of tire, but I can keep up with 4x4's through a lot of crap with those meats on.

Good climbers too:

I think we talked about this on an older thread. I think Razr2's would work for your riding style & that kind of terrain. Rocky Mountain's a good place to look. Have you tried them yet?

the GBC Mudsharks are great for the loose coal and they also hook up good on trails, they are pretty durable i only ever got one flat.
