400ex carb? how big is it? would a 39 be 2 big for a modded 300ex?

lots of people have done it they are supposed to fit right on and all you have to do is change the jetting some people even put 450R carbs on

yes im aware of that but i only got a pipe and a air filter for my 300ex. would a 400ex carb be a good envestment?

I think so. its gives you a good increase in throttle responce. I would wait for a good deal on one. don't buy a new one or anything the power difference isn't worth spending more then 100 bucks IMO.

yeah its gonna take some time to perfect but there are enough guys on here that have already done it. they can tell u where to start

i believe the stock 400ex carb is 38mm dont go 450r its just to big if you have the cash get a 36-37 fcr but if you dont wanna spend the csh a 400ex carb will do just fine
