how much $ to have a built motor?

here's my question. im wonderin how much i'd have to pay to have a built motor? either 310 or 330 kit? it will be pretty much a sleeper sand bike for drag racin and the hills. im lookin for a rough estimate because i dont have alot of info on these 250's..

To do it right, you are looking to get $4K-$5K into it if you buy new.

Just replacing the topend kit with a 310 - no case machining nec - $1000.

There are a couple on here for sale for under $2K

I have a CT Pro-X 330r entire running motor with high watt Rickey Stator, lightnened flywheel, new lectron carb with special throttle cable, ESR stator cover, Hinsen 8 plate clutch and clutch cover, hot rod crank, like new transmission. Built by Ed Terixea. $1300 plus shipping.
it's only had about 3 tanks of gas through it.

kirt- thats a hell of a price i havent even bought a quad yet. im lookin around right now for ideas and a quad. i found a fairly stock 86 R only 3 hours away from me thats only been ridin by a old guy in the sand for 1900$ so im lookin at that this weekend and then ill go from there.

why nawt get the whole engine? you'll spend a 1/4th of what he's asking for juss the covers. :huh

There is about $3,500 in this engine.
