smoke after top end?

alright so my 440ex was smoking bad so I did valve seals threw it back together still smoked tore it apart did a whole new topend cylinder and all and now I started breaking it in and its still snoking a tiny bit at idle im thinking maybe the packing is slammed with oil and that's what its burning off? its nothing like it was before

what I did was,
lap the valves
clean up the exhaust ports
clean the inside of the headers
new cylinder
new topend
set ring gaps
set the rings in the right order
torqued it all down

is this normal or is it probably just burning off what's in the packing?

Mine usually smokes for a little bit after a rebuild burning excess oil off. It probably is burning off some out of the pipe. if you did rebuild the whole thing like that im sure there is nothing to worry about.
