Had by second race on Sunday. Track and weather were perfect, wish I would have had a good race. About a 1/4 of the way into my first lap I smacked a tree really hard and bent a tie rod and messed up my throttle a little bit. With some serious toe out after that I think I was pulled into every tree for the rest of the race!
Anyone know where I can buy a tie rod. Checked babbitts and they want $100 for a whole assembly for one side. I am not ready to fork over $100 for a simple tie rod! :mad: Any after market companies make tie rods for the DS? I haven't found any yet. Anyone have one they wanna sell? If I can't find one for a reasonable price I'll probably go to my local machine shop either have them make me one or put a sleeve over the stock one.
