some how or another a raptor 250 showed up in the 90 /125 race at atco today.
it really caused a stir with all the dads and me
but i figured lets see what brandon can do.
when the race was over my boy had a 6 quad lead at the checkers. over the 250.
i was pretty impressed and b man was pumped as well.
the boy on the raptor could ride accept when he poped the clutch
on the gate and almost flipped .:eek2: :eek2:
quads ran great thank god. a fun memorial day but really hot.

Great job Brandon and Jim!
Guess that really proves what a great rider and a less horsepower properly setup quad can do. Tell Brandon not to let his guard down, because something tells me a dad with a Raptor is really upset right now with a second place against a mini :eek2:

Yep, everybody was scored correct so it did not affect the double
points race. After talking to the dad he said his son was to big for a mini and the raptor was a better fit. Unfortunately he did check the race class
structure before buying a quad that he was to young to race.
atco did try to fit the boy into a class instead of sending him home. great job to all the riders and thanks to everyone for the support and brandon is pumped. he keeps saying i can't believe i beat a raptor !!

they should have atleast put him in a shifter class like the sr. mini that would of been good... or there was no one in the jr. mini class he could have raced there.
