I cant tell what tires and rims are on that atv you have on this thread, but I can tell you that the rear axle is not stock and could possibly be wider than stock.

You are not going to get any wider than you are now. Looks like you have an aftermarket wider axle and pretty wide wheels.

Yep, the tires are Turf tamers.
Here's what they look like on a stock rear axle, and stock rims...

it is some sort of durablue axle that is much wider than stock. i would guess it is a 4 incher and the tires are probably 1 inch further offset than the stock rims are. steve

My stock tires right now are 20-10-9

the 10 is the actual width of the tire right? So thats the number i want bigger?
or do i want both end numbers to be a little bigger...

the 20 i imagine is the rim or wheel diameter?

Sorry to ask so many questions, im just trying to get the look i'm after.

Thanks for the guy who posted pictures, what size tire did you go with ??

kinda depends on the riding you're going to do. If it MX only then most of those guys go with the 18 inch tire size. If its gonna be all around woods, hills, sand, and so on then go with like 20x11x9 And then get the 2plus 4 dominator axle. I see them new on ebay cheap now a days.
BTW, i just looked at that pic closer. He has stock shocks on there and looks like stock front tires. I would guess hes running the 20-11-9 Turf Tamers which you can get for about 60 bucks at rocky mountainatv.com I just ordered a bunch of tires from them and they came pretty quick and free shipping after 100 bucks. Can't beat that !!!

Wow, Thanks a lot man.. you helped me out a whole lot.

its woods, MX and just dirt play.. no sand..

i think im gonna go with what you said, the 20-11-9...and the G-force axle.

Again, Thanks a lot..

oh. one more thing.. haha sorry

What does the 9 mean? could i do a 10?

no you cant

20 is tire height

second number 10 or 11 is tire width and then 9 is wheel

a 20x11-9 over a 20x10-9 will only protrude the side walls out a bit giving your wheel protection from the rocks and such.

Your not gonna get that wide with just tires and wheels. To go any wider than what you already are you are going to have to buy either spacers (that will cause problems) or an axel that is not that cheap to do.

But the axel is the only way to get what your wanting and then on the front a-arms are the only way to make it wider.
