Slide hammer's also work pretty well for pulling dents, but if it's kinked you don't have many options. Check out piperepair.com

ill post pics as soon as i get my new phone back cuz my old one doesnt have a memory card slot. the pipe is kinked shut! the end pulled out of the cylinder head and has a gap in between it.

The only problem is you run the risk of blowing out the welds as well. Unlikely, but I've seen it happen a few times.
