Can someone help me out? I have an '07 Ex, with about 12 hours on it and when I turn the Fuel on, I'm not getting any fuel out. But, if I turn it to reserve I do.

The fuel Tank is full.

I removed the tank in if I turn the fuel to the on position and tip the tank back fuel comes out.

Any ideas?

Someone just posted some pics of the tear down and cleaning of the pet cock, I did a search, but I can't find the thread.

Thanks guys......I need to get this fixed, I leave for the dunes on Wednesday!!!!!!!

Anyone? This isn't make sense to me.

I tried removing the pet cock, but one of the nut-serts seems to have rounded out the plastic so I can't get the bolt out.

mine did the same thing it fixed its self. I just ran on reserve and it started working. Riding will jog it loose unless you think there could be something bad in there then that wouldnt be the best to do.

i'm guessing thats what you were talking about. not sure if it helps since the nut is rounded..:ermm: anyway, if you end up getting it apart, make sure you flush your tank and check the float seat in your carb.

Yeah, that was it. I couldn't remember if their was a way to clean it without removing it from the tank. I sprayed some carb cleaner in it, flushed it with fuel and some air pressure. I got some crap out of it.

Everything seems to be fixed!!

Thanks for your help guys.
