air scoops

i want to get some air scoops for my 04 400ex. Anyone know what are some good scoops? and pics would be nice if you have em!

I like my OMF scoops. If you search "scoops", you'll find all the pics you could hope for.

I love the UMF style there full style and fill up the underside of your quad alot more and makes it all run together as one.

I seen the OMF thing above and for some reason had F stuck in my head lol. Its UM style air scoops. RockyMountainATV.com has them for $49 plus $7 shipping anything $99 or more is free shipping.

They are pretty sweet

i found some on ebay for like 49 shipped here so i have that coming a new hood and fan for radiator should this help cool motor down if so by how much

Im not sure on the actual degree's but it will help I also did the fan/scoop combo.

Scoops will only work when moving forward at certain speed think its like 30 or something like that. Once you get moving put your hand behind the scoop lol its like a fan blowing air.

The fan is more for my slow riding, so with both you have good air flow keeping that bike nice and cool (well cooler than normal) lol.

Black was all me when buying them they come silver so ya either have to rattle can it or send to be powder coated.

And thanks on the compliments I love the stock look of a quad dont care much for the race cut fenders and such (dont flame me over that lol) So I tried to keep to stock color scheme and give my bike the touch I wanted.

i am the same way snipe, i like a stock looking bike, with a few things here and there so its not, but looks stock at a glance.

Yeah but you can't see as good with those parachute front fenders.

LOL, yeah you can im a taller rider at around 6'1" I can see my front tires, the 08 front fenders are slacked backwords I can see the outside edge of my front tires with my pref so when flying through the woods I know if ill fit or not.

lol yea the front fenders on the older first gen I dont like but that was the norm back in the day but in other words I liked the first gen headlight being up there.

thats what I did, I used a paint from Oreily it works so freakin good and is tough as nails. I clear coated over with same brand .
