im looking at droppin in a cam in my stock 400ex, it has a full yoshimura RS-3 exhaust, rev box, and K&N filter, i run mostly MX so would i be better off with a Hot Cams stage 1 or stage 2

i remember reading somewhere i think you would want stage 2 but dont quote me i forget tho

def go stage 2 hotcam stage 1 is better for more woods riding , u will like the topend pull from the stage 2 , but without added compression you will lose some power off the bottom end , a 11.1 piston will fix that tho

I agree with unbroken you'll loose power if you go with a stg 2 cam if you dont get a high comp piston to go with it, if you dont plan on getting a piston then i'd go with a stg 1 cam.
