clutch

so i replaced my friends clutch it worked fine for like an hour then all of a sudden it started making this wierd noise when you would let the clutch out. kind of like a combination of a baby crying and screaming. but once you let the clutch out it stops. what could this be?

sounds like inexperience but I would have to see more detailed pictures to be totally for sure.

inexperience? what do you mean? i just replaced my clutch on my rm with no problems and its basically the same thing.

did u soak the clutch disks in oil before u put them in. most clutchs it says u don't have to but i put a clutch in without soaking it in oil and it made that screeching sound then i just took it back out and soaked all the disks completly in oil for like 5 mins and then i put it back together and it was fine. or it could be just breaking in the new clutch.

my kfx does the same thing so you didnt do it wrong,myabe you just need to oil the plates

yeah he soaked them over night so idk what it can be i guess i gotta take it apart again. yellow honda ill pm you where i usually ride.
