i put my hybrid on the dyno yesterday and it did pretty good i think i had a tc shorty pipe on it but i took it off and a stock crf450 pipe on and it made more power

it sucks i cant go to the beach race because i spliced my index finger open real good and now i have ten stitches.....

well it is a 400ex frame with crf450 motor the header fit but i mad the mid pipe i had a tc shorty on it but it was to loud and the stock pipe made more power

was the tc shorty packed well ? , worn packin will cause a lose of scavaging

The short exhaust should build more torque wile the longer exhaust builds more HP. Peak numbers are not every thing, you need to look at the curve not so much the "MAX POWER" Pick which suits how you ride not which gives you the biggest numbers.

yea i did not run both exhuast on the dyno but i did notice a difference in bottom end and that was what i was looking for

hot cam stage2
kibble white valves,springs,retainers
je 13.5:1 piston
new cylinder
hot rods crank kit
stock head no port work yet

You prolly would got better numbers w/o the knobbies also.
