We were out with ATVInsider Magazine today having some fun riding and photographing for an upcoming edition. The new camcorder seems to be doing pretty good even though we were pretty tired and hot, but it didn't complain:blah:

Pappy,

Where did you shoot the second video ? Sure does look like the limestone mines that we ride in Mingo, Oh.

Not sure what county I was in in OH:p

I do know that the limestone being almost white, combined with super bright sun will fry a white guy:scary:

That's in Jefferson county. I live just north of Wheeling on the WV side. That place is a half an hour from my house we ride there at least once a week. And your're right, clear lens' don't get it on a sunny day.lol. If ya need anything when you come to Powerline, let me know. I'd be glad to help out. I'm only 20mins from there.

It is "AWESOME" & is definetly bright on a sunny day. My favorite place to ride. If you go there through the week, there's usually no one there, you have the place all to yourself.

Pappy,

You have to make it to Black Mountain in Harlan, KY sometime. Incredible riding area and the views are unbelievable. It is trailriders' heaven. You might even find a bear if your luckier than I've ever been. I keep looking.

I sure hope that the video didn't do that hill justice, cause it sure didn't look steep.

Plenty steep...just to dusty to get over the side with a rope to show the angle

I'll second this post. Not to take away from the location in the videos because it looks awesome, but you should definitely check out Harlan if you get a chance.

One of many steep hills to play on. You only have the width of the road at the bottom to hit it with and it curves at the top.

The Stadium. All kinds of hills and a few jumps to play on.

Jon, i've been there,.....it is a ton of fun! I would put the hill in that video a good bit steeper just not as long!

LOL

If it wasn't so dusty, I was going to use the winch and lower myself over the edge to get the perspective I wanted...but i had eaten enough dust for that day

The kicker about the hill in the pic above is that you have no run at it....only the width of the road. And that's one of the only decent pics I have from my two trips over to Harlan. I suck at the picture taking. I'm an equal opportunity hill climber though. I love them all.
