I finally got to ride today, it has been literally raining for almost a week. My new seat cover worked great and the spider A3 grips i just got are amazing, my hands dont hurt at all and that is big for me. Since all the rain it is pretty wet here so i got to get her good and dirty. Here are some pics of dirty to clean, these could almost be a simple green commercial

Is that without touching the quad? I got that same seat and its a hassle to get clean. All the dirt and everything gets in all the tiny grooves.

that thing cleans up good... you wipe the whole quad down with the simple green or just on the plastics?

First hose off all you can, then spray it down with simple green let it sit for a minute or two then hose it all off. Thats all i did in the pics you see. I use simple green on the whole bike motor plastics and all, i do one side at a time so it doesnt have to sit on the bike to long while im spraying it off.

I also made a lid for my airbox yesterday, i did not make it air tight i just wanted it to help keep water out not so much dust. So i cut up my old outerwears from my K&N and sewed it into some ballistic nylon and then velcroed it to the air box. It worked quite well.

We had measurable precipitation here for 22 days straight including a couple of tornado warnings (none actually hit my town, thought). When I finally did get to ride the track was trashed from the heavy rains and flooding, and there was still plenty of standing water. Rain sucks when there's too much of it.

Nice quad BTW.

just remember to wet it first and not to let the simple green sit on it for long and you'll be good to go

That stuff OK on aluminum?... Painted items?

If so, I'm going to try it for cleaning up my quads.
