rolling along last night my wife next to me yells snake and dodged him i passed right by him we turned around 4 plus foot rattler we got pics of it i always pack my gun i was gonna pop a cap in his *** but my wife said dont do it and saved his life from my new belt,,, if i knew how to post pics i would just be on the lookout guys and gals.

State has them listed as a protected species. There is actually a road that gets closed twice a year because the timber rattlers move back and forth from the woods to the cliffs for winter and spring.

But I do hear they are good cooked up! And if there was one in my yard, it would have to be dead, with the kids and dogs, cannot take that chance. Out in the woods, though..... I
