Manual Cam Tensioner

Does anyone know of any company that makes a manual cam chain tensioner for a 400ex? Or maybe a manual tensioner for another model that fits a 400ex? I have heard of people converting their auto tensioner to manual one, but I haven't had any luck finding any information on anything. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i have not heard of one but there may be something around. I am wondering why you are looking for a manual one? steve

ive never seen one for 400ex/xr's. we put one on my dads z, but they are much more prone to premature chain wear than the hondas.

i was talking about manual tensioners yesterday, i think its more likely to use on the race motors. the auto tensioners only make it tighter and tighter, the manual one can have it set at one tension

they do make one. go to classifieds and search the threads, there was one for sale a few months ago.
