Shock question!!!

They are selling on ebay a custom axis shock that is 16.5" length eye to eye. My 250r is a 89 and im using a 89 linkage and dogbone, will the shock lenght give me a good ride height with the linckage and dogbone im using? What is the length of the shock that i should use in this kind of setup?

I also run a 89 swinger and dogbone on my R! My shock is 16 1/2 inches long! Aftermarket shock here!
