re build questions.

ok it's the off season and i think i need to go through my quad. i got a 03 400ex that i got new. it's burning oil like a 2 stroke so i am ready to do it. i was going to go with a 416 bore and port and polish the head with a new valve job. i was looking at a shop called ct racing, anyone know if they are good? i figure why buy new when my bike is the way i like it now

i would use ct or duncan they seem to be good builders and make some good parts. Agreed, why get a new one when the one you have works the way you want. you will be happy with the 416 for a long time. steve

i would go with trinity racing the port and polish stage 4 is $450- for muiltiangle vavle job with +2 valves is $150.... they did a great job with it. and warranty their work -

I'd go with kms notorsports for port and polish and I would do my own bore to a 440 kit it cost 400 bucks for cylinder pitson and gaskets 12.5 to 1 compression.. Hit. Me up for more info I can get u a good price from kms
