I have a Kawasaki Kick Start Kit for the KFX450. Brand New. They sell new for over 300 now.

does it eliminate the battery? and forward or reverse?

ELiminates nothing....you can use wither the push button or the kicker... and no gears are eliminated....

So what you are saying if I understand it is the kick start is more or less a back up and the electric start can still be used

Sure. What most use it for are xc racers for quicker starts.. The kicker starts the efi quads much quicker..
