well fellas i didnt really pull any strings, i just got VERY lucky with the find. i actually found this bike 45 mins from my house just sitting on a stand. And I couldnt beat the price so I had to grab it up. I cant wait to get this build started and finished so I can park this next to the lobo.

That's a pretty sweet find and I'm sure you got it for a fraction of what the guy paid for all that stuff. That looks like $8500 or so worth of parts if they are all new.

Finds like that are pretty rare, but do happen. I came across a new Laeger that a guy was building from 2004. He hurt his back and just kinda left it. New, the guy would have spend around $15000 but was selling it for $4K. Too bad he was 18 hours away.

I'll be getting my NEW Laeger frame this week.

I was told 2002-2003 but not certain about it. Do you know if there is anyway to tell? Did walsh make little changes in their frames like roll design did from year to year??

Im not sure if Mike changed things from year to year? I know he started making the removable frame rail on the Crfs. I kind of figured it was around the 2001-2002 year because thats when the Crfs got popular, plus on my laeger 250r I have the same shocks and on the rear body mine has an 01 engraved on it. It looks like your rear shock has the old style lock nuts on top. Its a diff setup now. Man I've always wanted a Walsh 250r but couldn't turn down the deal I got on mine! You are deff lucky!!! Get that thing done cuz I cant wait to see it finished! Your Lobo is sick so I can emagine what this will look like!!!

Walsh puts their build date on the right front motor mount.

Walsh also put some of their build dates on the under side of the seat latch holes on the sub-frame. Mine said WC MX 02 None the less, very nice find, it should look sweet when its finished!!
