Has anyone heard anything about a new ATV from Honda? A friend said he saw somthing about a 600EX in a magizine recently. Any truth to this rumor???????????

I saw the 600ex it was in a issue of dirtwheels a while back.they made it in 1999 when the first ex came out and they put a 600cc motor from a honda dirtbike in it.

i seen that along with the 500ex in an old mag.... they are fakes juss like the harly davidson quad

i have seen in an issue of dirt wheels a 750ex that was fake but i have an issue right now with a 600ex in it they took the motor from the 600cc dual sport motorcycle and put it in it...i also read about some company that is putting a cr250 motor in a 400ex chassis

There isnt any 600ex's, those were just project bikes.

But there is a 400ex with a 250r motor being built by Service Honda. But i dont think Honda has revealed anything about a new quad yet. Maybe by mid 03 or early 04.

Hurry up Honda, I have some cash and ready to spend it on a BIG BORE race quad , that will smoke everything out there!!!!!!!!!!! Honda is loosing alot of cash, because they will not make a quad for the weekend racer. That is me, I want like 55-65 hp, electric start, reverse, and lightweight.. Do not care if it is 450, or a 650, because we just ride hard.. no real racing here.. its all play racing, so the 440 rule I do not care about. honda if you make it, we will buy it!!!!!!!!! Cannondals are looking better every day.

like I said, no racing here, just like to ride hard!!, and fast and ALL day. So yes I want reverse, yes I'm lazy :D I 'm ready to buy a new quad, but waiting on Honda....... I love the power of my modified Raptor, but I want better handling. So selling it, and I will give Honda until Sept 2003, then I will buy something?? Yamaha??? This is my last Yamaha, once its gone I'll never buy another Yamaha. . BlueTraxx what is that??????? :confused:

the smartest quad for them to make would be a trx450f. the same motor that is in the cr450f. i think this motor rocks!!!!

that is def.what there going to o period, and since the race standerds were moved up to 450 they dont have to underbore it

i think honda is coming out with a crf450 quad. one of my friends that works at wiesco was telling me about it. i think its true.

i think hondas either fulla crap and too lazy to make a new quad or really testing a crf based quad to have the hp of a raptor and the weight of a 400ex

i actually heard that they were going to put the XR650 engine in a newly developed aluminum light weight frame or the 400EX frame. i talked to the guy at Honda about it and he said that in 2004 they might come out with a XR650EX. or they might use a CRF450F engine and sleeve it down 10cc so it will run in the 440 class. otherwise, it wouldn't keep up the higher cc bikes like the Raptor and stuff. btw, both bikes will probably be race ready for the pros.

i dont wanna sound stupid but all this new quad stuff is boring to me...i used to be so interested in what honda was gonna do but now all this talk gets sleepy.dont get me wrong, when i see what they do im gonna be really happy and wanting to try one but for now im happy riding what i have,.and now im REALLY happy because they came out with the new class for the 300ex's(14 or over can ride a 300cc four stroke 200cc two stroke) so now its an excuse to mod out my 300 and keep it. i now dont have to worry about selling my 300 and gettin the new honda for a while because i may be able to race for a while if my track runs that class.ok i vented hahahah im bored for the record.

It does suck that Honda has everyone playing guessing games, and NO ONE is good at them! The crf motor is the shiznit though, 55rwhp in stock form:huh !? Sounds like a beast of a motor to me.

I got tired of waiting on Honda and decided to make the SOB a monster myself! Not to say I wont be looking at the new Honda quad "when" it comes out!!!

Everyone would love to see a big bore honda. Don't count it out. Polaris took 5 years for the predator. I've heard the rumors for a year already so wait 4 more years.
