In picture 6 what is the purpose of that gusset in the front between the bottom frame rails? I would think that would make it so you can not use a belly skidplate.

I believe that is a gloss black powdercoat and it is Rico's frame.

I believe that is a gloss black powdercoat and it is Rico's frame. The skid plate doesn't go between the frame rails so it wont effect it!

I realize this, but most skidplates mount with a bolt that goes through that area. I would think that this would disable the ability to properly mount a belly skidplate.

You also didn't answer what that gusset actually does. Maybe we can all learn something new because I have never seen anyone gusset there before.

Wow that is awesome. Did Rico have his Subframe gusseted and powdercoated too? $375 is a great price for that. Does that include the Subframe? I was thinking the same about that front Gusset because my AC skid goes right through there, but you could just drill a hole.

Rico already had his subframe done last year.

Think you could gusset and powdercoat my X frame? If so $375 out the door is not a bad deal by any means. This includes sandblasting etc.. everything then right? What do you think it'd run to have my swingarm and A-Arms sandblasted and powdercoated along with it?

Their pieces of metal welded to the frame to help reinforce the weak areas and prevent it from cracking.
