Will pipe wrap keep my pants from melting?

Yeap and the hotter the exhaust the faster it flows. Just do it right your supposed to wrap it and paint it. Might be paint/wrap/paint or wrap then paint. I know your supposed to paint the wrap to seal it.

are you using header wrap? if thats the case ive never heard of anyone painting it. maybe in the atv world its different but on a car no one ever paints it.

also i wonder how this stuff does when it gets wet while hot

you are supposed to wrap it and then get it wet and then start the quad so the exhaust gets hot and it will shrink the wrap even tighter
