I bought it from a guy who had just financed it and decided to go in another direction, so he was still paying on it. He called me about 3 months later saying he had it I can have it switched whenever and I told him I wasnt concerned about it as this is not close to the first quad Ive owned and not had the title for. I have since lost touch with him and dont know how to get ahold of him. As Ive said i never intended to sell so I dint care to pay the $200 to have it switched. Sorry for all those who were interested.

I'm sorry but something seems very fishy about this.

A 2008 KFX450 for $2500?? I'm not calling you a liar, but I would advise anyone interested in buying this quad to run the VIN with either the local police or whoever does the licensing. Seems like one of those "too good to be true" type deals.

maybe if you posted pics of vin#'s from the frame and motor
it would put buyers at ease

if its legit someone could get an increadible deal

if you cant post vin's it will confirm others fears of it being stolen

And if you don't mind buying a possible stolen bike just know that if the cops ever check it out they will just take it from you and give it back to the owner.

Post the VIN, check it before you buy it.

For a legit VIN and $2500 I'd drive down from Ontario Canada and buy it.

I just have that feeling I'll be at the border and they'll be throwing a set of cuffs on me and asking why I'm Importing stolen goods.

I wouldnt be as concerned that it was stolen, I would be more concerned that the bank still owns it which would mean NO title and they would want that sucka back:p Either way the buyer loses.

The selelr states in his profile that he is in the Army.....I would hope that one of our own wouldnt be involved in anything that wasnt above board and hopefully he will oblige us with a clear picture of the vin or the vin #

Not only is the vin clear, Si is a stand-up guy. Not only did he provide me with all of the information I asked of him, he went out of his way to accomodate my schedule. He's in the reserves and as of now, he's out of commission due to a broken ankle.
I understand everyone's concerns involving a quad (or any vehicle for that matter!) of this nature, but this man just needed to sell a legitimate quad to help out with some finances.
Sorry to tell ya all, but you missed out on a heck of a deal-not to mention meeting a fellow rider(just a little down on his luck)!

By the way folks, this thing wasn't mint by any stretch of the imagination. I'm gonna hafta put some money in it!( Still worth it though!) Si, you're one heck of a photographer!

Yeah, I bought the quad. It was a $2500 piece. I've put a few hundred more in it (plus ALOT of elbow grease, simple green,sos pads, scotch brite, and so on). Sorry folks, Ya'll missed a deal!

lacks a little performance but I think the kfx is one of the best looking quads out right now
