04 vs 06 swingarm

People tell me that Honda changed the swingarm and leverage on the 06? Would the 06 arm and linkage be better than the 04 setup.I own a 04 racing xc and they say the 06 is smoother.True or false !:confused:

I have got a peps std legnth shock and was hoping that this would work on the 06 setup
