ok,just got this MINT TRX250x from a local guy around me,i missed my old 250x so much,so i had to do it,so i bought this one.
the guy i got it from said the kill switch or something was goofed up,he had the kill switch apart when i got there,well anyway,it runs now.
but,at high revs,it bogs out,like its hitting a rev limiter,and sometimes,it will cut out when riding,and i have to put the clutch in,and keep revving it to keep it running,i think it might just need a fresh plug,and the tank drained and fresh gas,but im not sure.
so can anyone help me out?

Sounds like you are on the right track. Starting with fresh gas and a fresh plug might work, but the high rev bogging out sounds like the carb might need adjusted. Take the plug out and if it is black, then it is too rich, if it is white, then it is too lean. You want it to be a nice brownish color. Check your plug gap too. Hope this helps, Good Luck!!

well,put a new plug in,and air filter,ive run it through quite a few tanks of gas since then,and it still is doing it,but not as often,im starting to think i need another coil.
any other suggestions?

well try your plug, or if its been started up cold often it could be the valve's

went out riding pretty much all day today,ran good all day pretty much.
but i shut it off to sit and talk with acouple buddies for a few,and when i went to start it,i had to push start it again,and it ran good for the rest of the day.
also,i used it to get to work(my work is like 4 blocks from my house),anyways,i let it sit until i was ready to go home,and it wouldnt start,it was damp outside(it was like 1 in the morning,and i had to have my boss pull me all the way to my house,it wouldnt pop start,until i got almost all the way to my house,it was almost as if it was flooded,it backfired alot too i noticed.
im gunna try getting a new coil and cdi,see if that helps any,but does anyone have any other ideas what it could be?
