Help with stall/cut out

07 DRR 50 - Stock Mikuni carb w/ UNI

Runs great on and off stand EXCEPT it will cut out for about a second then run fine again. It seems to randomly do this at the mid to full throttle.

It only happens every few minutes on average. Cleaned the jets. Just looking for possible starting points to pinpoint the problem.

Sounds like the needle is too rich. Does it do it at a constant half throttle - like it is shutting down? If so, your needle is the problem. Drop the needle down one clip (put the clip one slot higher.)

At constant half throttle it runs great except for the little spudder every now and then (it doesn't stay at a bog). Needle is on the bottom slot. Ran very well until this started to happen.

Put in a new plug not that long ago, could it be that simple as a bad plug? I will try to replace it and see if it goes away.

also--Check spark plug cap as well...they can cause intermittent issues if they are lose or have a bad connection
