For fans of extreme metal, Death metal.

My buddy just let me borrow his copy of "This is Exile"- WhiteChapel (2008).

I must say, this is possibly the best extreme metal act that I've come across in a while. They mix heavy rif***e from bands like Cannibal Corpse, drumming from bands like Behemoth, and vocals from bands such as Nile.

It all comes together quite well, especially considering that they have THREE lead guitars.

These are two of the best songs from thw album (IMHO)

thats pretty sick trigger the bloodshed is another good new death metal band out but a band i just fell in love with recently is parkway drive idk how to post you tube videos to here but u should check em out more of a hardcore kinda band then death metal but a good mix of both awesome vocals and crazy beak downs .

i love metal like ATR and as i lay dying etc, but I dont get music like this. I saw whitechapel live with the devil wears prada and I thought they were so bad i went into the back room. To each their own I guess.

Parkway Drive is a pretty sick band!

Ill have to look up TTBS.

ATR and AILD aren't even in the same sub-genre as WhiteChapel, so saying you don't like WhiteChapel doesn't surprise me.

ATR went soft on thier last album, and I haven't ever been a fan of AILD..

But like 03Pete said, to each thier own.:)

yea dude there is a lot of good new hardcore and death metal bands out right now. seems like everyday i discover a new one whose cd i wana buy. even thoe they arent a new death metal band obviously the new cannibal corpse cd isnt to bad its a little bit diffrent vocal wise then the albums in the past. like i said so many out right now hard to find all the good ones haha

whitechapel is ungodly awesome. definatly one of my favorite bands.
another good band to look to up that could possibly be labeled extreme metal is "meshuggah".

its funny u say they suck, cuz you probly cant scream, sing, play guitar, or play drums, just like everybody else that says metal isnt "real" music.
