Nice looking track. What days are they open for practice? How much does it cost to ride?

20.00 for practice and depending on class I think it was 25-30.00 plus entry on race days. They also give out very nice trophies.
When my ole man raced there for the first time 7 years ago he got a trophy that was about 5 feet tall for the championship!
The track is awesome.
We are working on putting together a day that works for the quads and looks like Sat. evenings are looking pretty good .
The owner wants us to have a separate practice (can you guess why ..? ) so we dont pizz off the bikes riders.
This hasnt been put in stone yet, but seems to be the date that works best.
They also have racing under the lights, which is nice in the summer .
We have anotehr fun MX in Mountain Home thats getting ready to gear up too. Hopefully everyone will share there love on both tracks. :)

That would be great to have a quad only day, probably worth the 3 hour drive for me. Do the races have much of a turnout for the quad motos? Went to a race on Sunday here in Winnemucca, and the quad class only had one entry. Needless to say the only quad moto of the day was cancelled...

Its hit and miss here..
Most of the time we dont have but a handful, but then for practice we had 13 this time so you never know .:p

Best thing to do is to watch for info on the IdahoATV website.
I can PM you the link if you like.

Looking good driver!, and did you notice that the #95 yfz-r is the guy we almost bought those DS's from? He races Pro WORCS now did you get to run laps with him?

ltr311
05-19-2009, 04:39 PM
I did actually run some laps with him. About 20 lol. I thought I hung pretty well. You would have to ask quadjunkie she watched us moto it up a little bit. I got some helmet cam footage of it. Turned out pretty damn good. He turned out to be a real cool cat. We are gonna car pool to the itp quadcross race in arizona and at 395. I cant wait.

Maybe you could share expenses with someone??
IT really helps for sure!
Where are U coming from?
I always feel for the Wa. riders as they have to travel a long ways to hit most of the rounds- glad they have two in there own state.

Maybe it could help someone.
I went to a race few years ago and i've met 4 guys who was racing as a team, so currious, i ask thems who was this team and how can you get sponsorded? they start to laugh, they say, my wallet. They explaine me how they done it.
They were all racing at some select race because it was close to there house and one of those race they met each other. They start to say how easy it would be if they ad some sponsor. So one day they dicide to share the traveling cost for a year, after that year of fun they sit down together and they start there mini team, plain and simple, they buy all the same (dirt bike)at the same place at first, they put 2500$each for spare parts and they went to dealer to dealer to have a good price and a sponsorship(parts at cost price) they all sale there trailer and buy a big one (36')that was it for the first year after that each years they put together 2500$each for what ever they want and they change there bike each 2 years.
Here we dont win big monney at the race and specialy quad, firts one 30$ so you dont race for the monney. So doing someting like that help you to race for a longer time.

So lt-r450 131 it could be a way for you to be able to race all the worcs series.you dont need to do the same thing but find a few guys who share the same passion and it will be a start.
Hope that could help someone

Oh BTW: Ladies and Gents..I seen a local TV advertisement yesterday here in a small town of Wichita, KS, US of A, Can-am ATV racing/riding Can ams w/ great finacing and purchase incentives that I have not heard out of any other OEM. Yam but not not as good! So where is KTM, HON, SUK, and the rest???????????? I am HIGHLY impressed w/Can-Am marketing, spending the money they do on getting the quad OUT THERE!!!!

Great job in such a hard economy Can am getting the word out!! ...KUDOs to U!! They are investing in the future of this sport like no other when money is tight!!
