I cut all 4 wires from the key switch and spliced the red and black wires together. Now what do I do with the 2 wires that are left?

either
A: Splice them together
or
B: Use them for a kill switch.

Just splice them together and everything will work as it should?
No kill switch yet

Do NOT splice the remaining two wires together. I just did this the other night. Twist the red and black wires together, and the other two (green and black/white I think?) do not do anything with, leave them apart. I actually cut mine off at the connector, so there is nothing left of them. Or you can just tape them off and use them later if you get a kill switch. (I never plan on having a kill switch, that is why I just got rid of them.) After I did this, quad started up first kick. This is for a 2004 kick start, not sure what to do on the later years or a electric start quad.
