My sons 08 DRR 90 sucked some water into the intake yesterday (wet track) I removed carb and cleaned both the carb and the filter, Also cleaned intake, compression looks good, now I am going to change the tranny oil ( it is white and frothy), wondering what weight oil should I be running? Any suggestions as to what brand as well, also how much il goes in these trannys? Thanks

We run 75 to 90 wt gear oil. Royal purple synthetic or Amsoil. You can't go wrong with amsoil. Also if you pressurewash the quad with it lifted up on the grab bar plug off or tape the breather tube to the tranny. This will help keep the water out of the oil.

We use AMSOIL. should only hold 100-120ccs, check the side of your case, ours is stamped how much to use. It's only about 4 ounces.....Jeff
We change ours after every race weekend!
