Updated Pictures of My R. Also sharing good news regarding Nerf Bars.

I changed my bike up some and also found some nerf bars that fit. It has a completely different front and rear end suspension components, nerf bars, tire/wheel set up, air box setup, reeds, etc. The bike runs great so far, looking forward to more seat time this summer. I still have some parts to add, however it's getting there.

By the way, the nerfs are the pro stock series for a TRX450R, they bolt right up with the IMS setup for rider protection I have.

Thanks for the compliments all! It was a blast to ride. I had my shifter adjusted too low and was still keeping up (about 1.5 bike lengths) with a freshly rebuilt TRX450R. I was starting in 2nd and usually had him until 3rd, and still too much wheel spin, also outweighed the my buddy on the 4-poke about 45lbs.

R looks real nice man. You mentioned to the guy selling the plastics...... What is it you have in mind as far as changing it up plastic wise? lol. Its never ending, i know.

I think they would. The nerf bars have three holes where they bolt to the peg, you only utilize two of the three when mounting them up. The front them mounts to a universal system consisting of an adjustable horizontal bar that mounts directly to the frame with ubolts and washers. Just slide the front of the nerf bars on the bar mount and bolt up to the pegs.

My frame is an 88/89 Aren's OEM Replacement frame, it should work for your application, but I have no gurantees. Call Paige at IMS, she was great to work with. Also, this was the last on of the black pc'ed ones. They do not make them anymore do not advertise them. The specific model is the Pro Stock for TRX450R. Part # is 702206. I think ATV Galaxy can do better, however it is sometimes better to go to the source for a few extra bones.

Thanks man! I really like the white and candy red combo I had before - although I do like this combo as well. It's just completely different.
