just wondering what would be the best track tires to run on 9" or 8 inch rims:devil: im gonna need some new tread soon:devil:

i would go with 8s just because they are the lightest of the group. the tires weigh less than the rim so it is a tradeoff for the better using more tire than rim. steve

20'' tires on 10'' rims up front, and 18'' tires on 8'' rims for rear.

ITP Holeshots are good, their MX6Rs arent too expensive and hold up great.

Kenda Klaws are very good too, I love them for muddy terrains.

Combination of Kenda Klaw for front and Holeshot MX6R for rear will give you hella grip on race starts and handle like mad the rest of the race.

Klaws dont throw dirt as much as Holeshots does, that's why I like them and they still grip as heck!

i got some ria sdhreddr 18" on 8" and i get alot of top end and i can rip around with em but i lose a hole lotta of top end

Maybe your gearing needs a bit of work? Get some proper tires like I said Holeshots or Klaws and then try to play with the sprockets and find a good balance. :)
