do you still have the bushing intact on the swingarm where the brake caliper stay bracket rides? sometimes they fall off when doing rear end work and don't get put back on. That would allow alot of slop and the whole caliper and bracket assembly to rock back and forth and make noise when you brake

Or maybe just a loose bolt or wore hole on bracket causing movement in the caliper?

I know for a fact that bushing is not there because when i put it back together it didn't look right and figured that must be how it is. do you have a part number for this?

I don't think the bushing being gone will cause your brake to drag, just the noise you're hearing. Might need to rebuild your caliper too.

I don't see how a brake stay bushing is going to make any difference at all. If your brakes are dragging, there are only a few things that'll cause it. The most common are rusty slider pins and sticky pistons. Pull the caliper off and go from there.

Its a brand new caliper i swaped out my out one because i thought it would help. ill take every thing back off and grease it again but it didn't help last time. It feels like my chain is jumping teeth. But the sprockets are good. But i do know for a fact the brake is dragging because after riding for a while the rotor and caliper are super hot

pry the brake pads apart and ride it, without pushing the brake pedal. and see if its fixed, if so, the caliper is up. get some pics of your set up.

Brand new 250r caliper? must have paid a pretty penny for that! Might need to rebuild the master cylinder...

Found part of the problem. The carrier is wasted. For whatever reason i could tell it was going bad. No play in it what so ever but yesterday it let go completly. Got another im going to throw in today.
