Cut the can down to 9", cut the outer mounting tab off and ground down the welds. Should give little more low end pull. I think it turned out pretty sweet.

What you all think?

Yeah, that's one thing I am wondering about.

It's not packed yet, damn shop was out of packing, so I haven't had a chance to start it up yet. I am a duner, so sound isn't really an issue here.

Yeah, some hi temp header paint. I have already scratched it up pretty bad. I will wait till it looks ratty and have it PCed.

If my packing would come in, I will get a sound clip.

i could be and correct me if i wrong. But i think you will lose low end and gain it on top with a shorty. Free flowing creates top end, while more back pressure creates low.

A shorter can will increase low to mid range power. ;)

im still sticking with my guns. You wont gain low end by making it shorter. I think the only gains you will see is in the db level. But hey as long as YOU think it gives you more bottom end, thats all that matters;)

you are wrong. shorter pipe creates a low and midrange. thats why the TC exhaust was a highly used pipe on the mx track. it was super loud so thats why alot of people quit using them but ive always thought TC shorty was one of the sickest looking and sickest sounding pipes ever esp on a 450

How exactly did you go about cutting the pipe, i would like to know the process so i could do it to mine, i am oh so jelous when i look at this pipe :D

I cut it with a chop saw.....make sure you use a sturdy blade and cut extremely slow so that the blade doesn't flex and make a crooked cut.

The pipe sounds awesome and produces great power. It is a little loud, though. I would get a sound clip for you all, but my vid cam decided to take a crap. :ermm:
