I have a question if anyone can help me please. I am getting ready to get another new axle carrier and was debating between the following. They are either Lonestar 's billet carrier or Meszaro's MotorSports extreme billet axle carrier.

If anyone could help I would truely appreciate it.

The Lonestar works fine but I never tried a Meszaro.

seems to me they have....you can pick billet carriers up now for $120....they always seemed like they were $169

Yes the prices have dropped I think. If your lookin for a duel row carrier find one for the cheapest price and buy it...if you want tapered go with RPM,,but you'll loose adjustability

What adjustability will you loose with the Tapered Carrier? Is a Dual Row or Tapered Carrier better?

i have a dual row from Herrmann Racing. it's a good, inexpensive carrier. it has a grease zerk but you have to take it out to get to it. had it for about 3 months and it's been good.

I was looking through Dirtwheels and in the RAD add it says their Tapered Carrier does not take away any Adjustability.

Iv'e got a RAD tapered bearing on my Banshee, and a Lonestar double row on my 250R. So far, I haven't had any problems with either, but the RPM tapered one is really nice, and seems stronger by design.

Does the RPM have a grease zerk that allows you to grease it without taking the carrier out?

when you grease the lone star carrier do you have to remove it to grease it or can you leave it alone.

Thanks for your help

i believe that on a stock swing arm it still has to be removed. aftermarket swing arms have a section that allows you to hit the grease zerk. im pretty sure some have modded the stock swing arm so the zerk is able to be greased.

I have a RPM tapered carrier that I have had on a banshee for four years and it works great. It is completely adjustable. Good Luck

Ok so the RPM does still give you adjustability?
