I would get a chassis skid, some beadlocks, tether, bars, and definitely a suspension upgrade. 450r shocks. Then get the 450 and your rear revalved by gt thunder.

Engine wise I'd say a larger oil cooler and air scoops. Maybe a larger oil tank. Hare Scrambles are usually a few hours arn't they? You need to make sure you stay cool.
Defently a set of skids. Good tires. Bead locks for some insurance.

gear your motor low....power isnt everything here...sure it helps, but if you really want power buy a 450.
Your mods now should be fine....but as putts stated, make it run cooler..

I used to run (scrambles) them on a stock motored 250x. All I ever had was some skid plates. I always did well, despite running against bikes a lot more "set up" than my little ole 250x. Best thing to do is learn how to pick a line, and pace yourself. I ran scrambles on motorcycles for years prior to doing it on a quad. Some guys come out hard, and either break down, or lose their steam. Conditioning and thinking are the best things you have going. JMO. :)
