Was trimming bushes and...

While I was out trimming the bushes this morning I almost cut a bird in half. I found 3 nests at different stages in the front yard.

That nest has two different breeds of eggs in it. The Cowbird lays it's egg in other birds nests and the "adopted" parents feed the foreign hatchling as their own.

I thought this was goin to be one of those if you trim around the bush it makes the tree look bigger threads.:chinese:

But thats one hell of a close call. We use to have blue bird nest in our evergreen trees here but haven't seen them for about five or six years.

yea i just don't know what the other egg is. the bird nest is from a finch though.
