22 inch rear tire issues

this is the dg nerfs im running http://www.dgperf.com/pages/DGproductsDetail_ATV-Sport.asp?appID=34&productID=5642 i wanted to run 22 inch rear tires and i wanted to know if anyone had clearance issues with the nerfs(tires rubbing the nerfs)

I have those same bars and with 22's the come close.

what 22s are you running?? i ask cause 22s run from 21to 23.5 inches tall

I borrowed them for a weekend from a friend I think they were Holeshots. They were wore out too.

22" tires are measured from the tire its self thats not including the tread. Measure your wheel from front to back and then add about 3 inches 1" 1/2 on each side most tread depth run around 13 to 14/32 that is about half an inch.

you will have 1 inch wider on each side over your stockers so an inch and half on each side will be your final width...

Honestly I think you will be fine but holding a tape there might make ya feel better.

They will be very close to hitting if not hit the nerfs. i have never actually tried it. if i get a chance tomorrow i will put my 22" razrs from the 300ex on mine. steve

cool ive seen 400exs with my nerfs and 22s but i dont know if anything was mod. to fit..my cousin had to take off his dg nerfs (same nerfs as mine) to fit a 22in mud tire,but he beat his 400ex real bad on rocks so im sure his nerfs were bent..i have 22 11 10 holeshot like tires new that someone gave me,but i dont want to buy rims if theres alot of issues with 22s

i think they will fit for you. They lined up but my nerfs are different so they go back further. let me know what you do with them, mine were razrs though. steve
