Do we need to use any special kind of brake fluid for are brakes? The reason i ask is because im having a hard time bleeding my front brakes. The lever is still very spongy. I am useing DOT 3 brake fluid. I was thinking maybe i have to use thicker fluid? Thanks for any info guys

I want to say that it says on top of the master cylinder lid. I used DOT 4 on mine, which was recommended, I just can't remember if I got it off of the lid or out of the manual.

I bled my front brakes several times and I could still pull the lever to the bar. Then I got a set of +2 arms and some steel braided brake lines, and the braided lines solved the problem. I can't pull the lever in even half way now, and the brakes are much stronger. I got my lines from American Star Racing along with the arms. The stock line is garbage, so that's probably your problem.
