Can anyone explain in ALOT of detail how to time a yz426motor.

Are you speaking of cams to crank shaft timing?
Aliegn the lines off of the flywheel L/H side, through the timing hole. Make sure piston is at top dead center.
The cams have dots, exhaust cam 9 o-clock position
intake cam at the 3 o-clock position.
Level with the top of the cyl head.

And to be SAFE, always turn engine over by hand with spark plug removed.
Do you know if the engine has the yz450 decomp cam?
That is a different precidure....
