let us know how those tires do. I have thought about them but I have a hart time putting them on a sport bike. I might just get an extra set of rims and the mudlites for when we get too much rain

He can make it though anything. Then again these worn out Holeshot HD's go through everythign to. I figure if i dont like them i'll pick up a set of Hipers for the rear and throw some Holeshots back on and keep the mudlite for winter or when its really muddy.

If u clean the bike after every ride like you should, it would never get like that.
My bikes 3 years old and is as clean as the day I bought it.

I would recommend that you didn't burn the tires off unless you like being hard on your transmission and clutch. You are better off running the tires until they fall apart like I do. oh dont really know what the dozer is it was just sitting in the gravel bank we were in. As for the burn out i dont think its really taht bad on the tranny or clutch since. Depends on how you do it i guess

you need to get some simple green and tooth brush and start cleaning! It will last a lot longer if u keep it clean and do not let it rot away....

Sounds like the bearings weren't pressed into the carrier far enough when it was assembled.
The inner races of the bearings should be just touching that inner tube.
It shouldn't be allowed to clank around in there tho.

Though after a few rides the races should push the bearings in further, then u'll have to tighten the axle nut.

Carriers really don't need grease in the middle. The bearings are sealed on both sides, so the grease as no affect on them.
Only thing the grease is good for is stopping the center tube from rusting, and maybe to help keep sand away from the inner side of the bearings.
Unless there is something I'm missing.

Unless there is something I'm missing. the grease was more of a waterproofing grease and really yea i see no point in the outside of the carier being greased except for it gets turned to tighten the chain etc..
