About a month I put on a HMF red ballance slip on. The other day I was washing it and noticed spots on it that looked like water splotches but it was wet and I was scrubing it with dish detergent. Then I look at my carbon warning label covers and they look like they have the same stuff on it. I have tried windex, WD-40 and armor all. ( just household cleaners) It doesn't do anything to it.
Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it? What cleaners would work?
Thanks

I had something similar on my pipe and I used some Mothers Mag wheel paste and it cleaned right up. I can get the jar if you need to know the exact name. I comes in a small "puck" style can and is a paste similar to hair creme.

probally ozidation on it like car headlights. I bet if you used the stuff that cleaned up the headlights it will take it off.

Is it the Mothers mag and aluminum polish in the puck style canister he is looking for?

That is the stuff. Again, it worked for my pipe. Great cleaning tool to have on hand for odd jobs.

This the stuff? You are sure it will work on a RED exhaust, not just chrome?

Didn't try it on a red exhaust, but just about anything metal it will work on. Try it on a small hidden area first.
