throttle help

I was riding my bike last weekend and when i completly let off the gas it dies.I found out my mechinism for if the throttle gets stuck keeps unscrewing some and killing it when i let completly off the gas.Has anyone else had this problem?And if so what did you do to fix it

Just disconnect the little plug on the throttle housing. Thats what you do with a twist throttle anyway.....

I had the same problem also. I disconnected the system, and replaced the bulky stock throttle housing with a Terrycable billet throttle using a Yamaha cable. It takes up much less space leaving room for handguards etc. Plus I don't get blisters from the stock setup anymore!
