Will a after market rev limiter help e get more speed from my 440ex:) :confused: I have a 125$ to spend what mode do you thinck would help it.

I'd say save your money (or spend it on something else). You can check out dyno graphs at GT Thunder (http://www.geocities.com/gtthunder.geo/testbed_set.html), and you can see that all it does is let you rev higher, but the engine doesn't make power there. So to be any use, the engine needs some MAJOR modifcations done to it so that it can make power at that RPM.

make sure u have that adobe reader thingy, search through the pages for the limiter, it should be in there

if you just want more speed then gear it a little higher. go up to a 16 tooth front, you most likely won't even have to get a new chain or add links or anything.

I have heard that the rev limiter doesn't help with stock but when you bore to a 440 your engine is still gaining power in the higher revs. You have a 440 so it might help a little but i wouldn't expect a huge difference.

Remove your air box lid, get an aftermarket filter, and rejet.

You'll feel that in the bottom end.

Try a K&N Power-Up kit.
