thinking about building one

i am wanting to build a 450r that way from the ground up. has anyone done this? is it cheaper to buy each part separatly or just buy one strait up. i dont mind the labor of peicing one together

best to buy a used bike.. then teardown and rebuild..... you will have all the expensive little bolts and special brackets... electrical stuff... etc.
