i'm going to dismantle my 450r i bought for $1000 and after i guesset the frame i'm gettign it powercoated what colar is best
i know blue green yellow pink are out for sure but i'm deciding on darker grey or silver blacked out or plum crazy purple or red with red plastic

any imput would help thanks

just do it white or black, so it will match anything and still look awesome!, ive had both and the white was a little easier to keep clean.

another thing is you can just go buy black/white nail polish and touch up the frame where your boots rub

and if you get the basic white/black its cheap to PC

its a win/win/win

ive had orange, black, gold, red; candies and translucents... mirrors and glosses..... go with a gloss/mirror white or black for long life.... or even a dormant color....that requires a clear...

i'm leaning on black now alot more then i was
i found a good deal on a new set of xc plastic brand new for $150
is there a big diffence in powdercoating
can i get flat black or make is shiny like a car when it's clean

my frame/swinger/a-arms and stem are flat black, to give you an idea

yea the mainer xc plastic powercoated just like what you did i want to do the rims and the nerfs when i get them also

I like rollie`s flat black.....

Mine is white and it shows every crack, stress marks,all over.
Not again.

how many cracks do you have in your frame
i haven't ever had a 450r before or even had this one running

do u have a guesset kit for yours
what i have is an 04 frame with an 06+ motor

do what you like. hopefully your building your bike to your likings and not someone elses. who cares if someone else likes the color. now if you want to see ideas of what color combos look good, just search all of the"show off" threads.

You will be much happier if you build it to your likings. There is no way everyone will like what you are building. Some people like plain, some like lots of stickers, ect.

just my 2cents.
